How loud are the bagpipes?
90-95 decibels for a single piper. That is as loud as a lawn mower.
How much do you charge?
200 dollars an hour with a one hour minimum, and 67 cents per mile to and from the event. Mileage is always measured from Cedar Grove, Wisconsin to your destination.
What songs can you play?
Songs I know by memory: The 42nd Highlanders, Amazing Grace, America the beautiful, Auld Lang Syne, Be Still My Soul, Do You Think I'm sexy, O Danny boy, Flower of Scotland, Going Home, Highland cathedral, Kelly The Boy From Killane, Leaving Rhu Vaternish, Loch Lomond, The Parting Glass, Scotland The Brave, Scots Wha Hae, She Moved Through The Fair, Sweet Caroline, The Skye Boat Song, Take Me Home Country Roads, Rock Of Ages, The Rowan Tree. I am always adding more.
Can you play in the winter?
Yes but there is a chance the pipes will stop mid song. Bagpipes lose their tuning in temperatures under 40 degrees Fahrenheit and can freeze. I cannot guarantee the instrument will perform in freezing temperatures.
How do I call and reserve you?
Feel free to call or text 920-564-0045 and I can tell you if my calendar is open. Reservations are made with payment as when I say yes to you and block out my calendar I say no to everyone else.
Why don’t you have a calendar on your website?
While using google sites I have not found a way to set up a calendar on it yet.
Do I have to put money down to reserve you?
Yes, I require 150 dollars from your total price to be paid ahead of time in order to reserve me. This 150 dollars is nonrefundable if you have to cancel the event. It is refundable if I have to cancel the event. This way you have a guarantee that I will show up, and I know that even if the event is canceled I don’t lose a whole day's pay.
What if I am paying cash?
I am happy to do a down payment via venmo that can be returned upon cash payment. I am open to ideas if you have them.
